NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

(Pursuant to Section 506 and 1526 of the Real Property Tax Law)

HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

Notice is hereby given that as of May 1, 2026, the Assessor(s) of the Town of    Leyden   , County of Lewis, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, and that a copy has been left at Town Clerk’s Office where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until Grievance Day.The assessor(s) will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll at the Leyden Town Office, 6606 School Road, Boonville, NY 13309 on the following days:

Tuesday, May 5

12pm – 4pm, by appt. only

Saturday, May 9

10am – 2pm, by appt. only

Tuesday, May 12

12pm – 4pm, by appt. only

Tuesday, May 19

4pm – 8pm, by appt. only

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 28, 2026, at the following times

4 pm to 8 pm

at the     Leyden Town Office, 6606 School Road, Boonville, NY 13309 in said town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any persons believing him/herself to be aggrieved. (Application for filing a complaint and instructional booklets are available from your assessor, town clerk, or the Lewis County Real Property Tax Service Agency.)
